Instant Pot Wild Rice
How to cook the perfect wild rice in your instant pot

- 2 cups wild rice
- 3 cups water
- 1/4 tsp salt or a couple bouillon cubes
Place 2 cups of wild rice in a strainer and give it a quick rinse in the sink.
Once the rice has been rinsed add the rice to the Instant Pot.
Pour 3 cups of water over the rice and stir until the rice is submerged.
Add 1/4 salt or bouillon cubes to the rice and water and stir until combined.
Plug the Instant Pot in, place the cover on top and make sure it is in a locked position and the valve is in the sealed .
Hit the 'Manual' setting and set the time for 42 min.
I found 42 minutes to be the right amount of time for rice that is chewy but still has a bit of a bite.
Once the rice has cooked for 42 minutes allow the steam to release naturally for 10-12 minutes. After this time, you can vent any remaining steam.
